Create your own vehicle or download more than 10,000 vehicles from the game’s workshop. When I parent the whole lug object to one of the vertices at the edge of the drum, and then scale the drum so it is 10x10x8 (XYZ) the lug distance ends up being 1.31964inches. So for instance the original drum - with dimensions of 12x12x9inches (XYZ) - with zero scaling has a distance between the edge of the drum and the lug of about 1.35409inches. It doesn't matter if you want to build a dragster, fire engine, forklift, helicopter, plane or even a tank: It will drive, break and function as you would expect it. But the relative distance from the edge of the drum changes based on the Z-scaling of the drum shell. I can get the lugs to follow the scale of the drum without changing their size by doing vertex parenting. Had some odd results with meshes changing their position to be miles away from the drum. Hmmm, there’s something about this that I am just not understanding.
